So I missed yesterdays 'Cover Sunday' so I thought I'd do it today and I've found a cover I really love.
Wolf Alice covers Katy Perry's pop hit 'Roar' at the legendary Dean St Studios.
I really like this cover because it's basically unrecognizable from the original.
Lead singer Ellie Rowsell brings her different alternative sound to the track, making it sound more folk rock than top hit 40 pop. Not that Katy Perry's version isn't a guilty pleasure, I prefer this cover!
